Developmental Paraprofessional Manager - Internal Candidates Only
Positive Development is focused on enhancing the quality of care provided to clients through effective management of Developmental Paraprofessionals (DPPs). The DPP Manager is responsible for overseeing the onboarding, scheduling, and retention of DPPs while collaborating with Clinical Directors and Case Managers to ensure high-quality client care.

Responsibilities
Partner with Recruiting to align hiring timelines with pod-specific demand and zip code coverage
Coordinate and track onboarding progress, including credentials, system setup, and training milestones
Maintain visibility into DPP onboarding pipelines and update capacity dashboards
Manage DPP-client pairing in collaboration with Service Coordination and Clinical Directors
Track availability, location, and shift patterns to maximize efficient client coverage
Ensure scheduling logistics align with treatment plan and minimize service disruptions
Monitor attendance, documentation compliance, and timecard accuracy
Conduct 30/60/90-day check-ins to assess onboarding success, engagement, and administrative performance
Flag issues related to engagement, professionalism, or reliability
Responsible for the performance management of the DPPs
Support engagement efforts and implement retention strategies for high-performing DPPs
Act as the day-to-day administrative point of contact for DPPs, handling scheduling, policy updates, and general questions
Disseminate key communications and reinforce expectations related to documentation, attendance, and client interaction standards
Coordinate recognition, appreciation efforts, and engagement check-ins to support morale and retention
Partner with clinical leads, clinical SME to Ensure all required administrative and compliance documentation is up to date (e.g., background checks, mandatory trainings)
Audit timesheets, session documentation, and system usage for accuracy and completeness
Partner with the Clinical Director to escalate patterns that may indicate clinical concerns
Collaborate on DPP-client assignments to align with family needs, preferences, and care goals
Communicate onboarding timelines and DPP readiness for client pairing
Troubleshoot scheduling issues or service gaps that affect client satisfaction or outcomes
Flag administrative issues (e.g., attendance, communication delays) that may impact client engagement
Share insights from DPPs about potential family needs, barriers, or challenges requiring CM intervention
Partner on strategies to retain families at risk of disengagement due to inconsistent staffing
Partner on performance concerns, care fidelity, and escalation of potential clinical risks. Align on DPP development needs and behavioral concerns
Coordinate around client needs, service continuity, and family communication
Ensure hiring and assignment processes match operational growth and clinical capacity
Qualification
Required
Experience in managing administrative processes related to hiring and onboarding
Ability to coordinate and track onboarding progress, including credentials and training milestones
Experience in scheduling and managing client coverage
Ability to monitor attendance, documentation compliance, and timecard accuracy
Experience conducting performance check-ins and managing performance issues
Strong communication skills to act as the administrative point of contact for DPPs
Ability to ensure compliance with administrative and documentation requirements
Experience in collaborating with clinical leads and case managers
Ability to troubleshoot scheduling issues and communicate effectively with families
Experience in implementing retention strategies for high-performing staff
