Data Management Intern
Integration Innovation, Inc. is seeking a motivated Data Management Intern to support critical initiatives in defense data handling and analysis. This internship will provide hands-on experience in managing Department of Defense (DoD) test data and contribute to the sustainment of missile defense systems.

Responsibilities
Assist in the ingestion, organization, and processing of DoD test data from various mission sources, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to weapon system analysts for evaluation and decision-making
Support the digitization of a national archive, including scanning, cataloging, and metadata tagging of historical documents to enhance accessibility and preservation
Contribute to data management tasks related to elite missile defense systems, such as data validation, quality assurance, and integration into analytical workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data protocols that comply with DoD security standards and regulations
Perform routine data audits, generate reports on data integrity, and identify opportunities for process improvements
Participate in team meetings and contribute to documentation of data management procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field at the time of the internship (Summer 2026) or the semester immediately following (Fall 2026)
Basic understanding of data management principles, including data ingestion, storage, and retrieval processes
Familiarity with tools and technologies such as databases (e.g., SQL), data processing software (e.g., Python or R for scripting), and digitization platforms; prior experience with DoD-related data systems is advantageous but not required
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
Excellent organizational and communication abilities, with proficiency in producing clear, professional documentation
Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required
Willingness to undergo background checks as needed
Demonstrated interest in defense technologies, national security, or archival digitization projects
Preferred
Knowledge of DoD data standards, compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST), or mission test data protocols
Prior internship or coursework in defense, aerospace, or government sectors
