Responsibilities
Prepare projects for PPA, GIA, and ISO testing
Manage test energy forecasts and AVR/AGC notifications with customers, the client's control center, and relevant external parties
Support IT & SCADA Teams with functional checks
Develop a commissioning schedule based on mechanical completion with SCADA Integrator and Execution Commissioning Project Manager
Verify SCADA HMI functionality and accuracy with SCADA Integrator and Commissioning Manager
Support CEWIS Critical Point Checkout with ROCC alarm checks/PGD
Review performance data for deficiencies
Qualification
Required
Education: Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience involving utility solar power systems
Knowledge of utility-scale photovoltaic construction and commissioning
Familiarity with utility-scale photovoltaic components (PV modules, combiners, inverters, transformers, met stations, substations)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office / 365
Effective communication skills with third parties and executives
Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities
Must be able to see color to discern color-coded HMI controls
Must be able to handle prolonged periods of screen time
Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a motor vehicle for commuting between work locations
Preferred
Professional or graduate-level academic experience in utility PV systems
Prior experience with SCADA systems of industrial plants/processes
1-3 years of experience working with electrical grid participants such as Transmission Operators, Independent System Operators, and Balancing Authorities
