Responsibilities

Design and implement large-scale, multi-environment cloud network architectures, including hub-and-spoke or mesh topologies, shared services networks, and workload isolation patterns

Lead Azure enterprise networking initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence

Deliver and evolve enterprise landing zones, including:

VNET and subnet design

Routing and DNS strategies

Firewalling and network security baselines

Ensure alignment with platform standards and best practices

Apply zero-trust networking principles across all environments

Design secure ingress/egress controls, private connectivity, and HA/DR network patterns

Enable secure connectivity between cloud, on-prem, and third-party systems

Define, deploy, and govern network infrastructure using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools

Integrate IaC workflows with CI/CD pipelines to support scalable and repeatable deployments

Define and enforce network standards, ownership models, change control processes, and escalation paths

Support multiple product teams and shared services within a governed operating model

Partner closely with platform engineering, security, application teams, and external vendors

Enable delivery while maintaining architectural guardrails and security standards

Define and implement a centralized enterprise secrets management strategy, replacing hard-coded or ad hoc credential practices

Deploy and operate enterprise secrets platforms such as Akeyless, HashiCorp Vault, or cloud-native secret stores

Design for high availability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience

Integrate secrets management with:

CI/CD pipelines

Kubernetes

Cloud services and application runtimes

Enable dynamic secrets, automated rotation, and least-privilege access

Enforce security policies, access controls, and audit logging to meet enterprise risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements

Lead the migration and consolidation of secrets from multiple systems, pipelines, and codebases into a single governed platform

Ensure minimal disruption to delivery timelines

Define usage patterns, golden paths, documentation, and onboarding guidance

Enable consistent and low-friction adoption of secrets management across product teams
