Responsibilities

Advising and supporting sales and operations on a variety of complex contracts and commercial projects in the channel, including direct engagement with customers and partners
Negotiating and drafting strategic agreements, including sales, distribution, marketing, and after-sales service of Apple products
Providing solutions-based counseling to all levels of management on a wide variety of complex legal and business issues
Building relationships and collaborating with multiple teams across Apple’s organization to identify and resolve issues and close deal

Required

JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
3-7 years of experience (in-house and/or law firm), including substantive experience on commercial contracts ideally in the telecom or consumer electronics space
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and drafting skills: ability to listen, communicate, and draft in a clear and concise manner, present and speak-up, influence, convince, and confront ideas to get to the right decision
Familiarity with competition law and other relevant legal issues related to sales, marketing, and distribution in the US and/or other geos
Some travel may be required

Preferred

Curious, self-starter who can work independently, thrives in building strong relationships and driving projects involving cross functional teams, and skilled in collaborating with clients based in various geographies
Excellent analytical skills, detail oriented with a strong business acumen, excellent time management and organizational skills, and able to handle a variety of matters at once in a fast-paced environment
Ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
Comfortable advising and working with senior and executive management
Experience with mobile wireless technologies and mobile network operators would be ideal, but not required
