Responsibilities
Collaborate with Firm attorneys on various client matters, and manage your own litigation docket, serving as first-chair in employment disputes in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies
Oversee and manage full cycle of matters, including any associates staffed on the matter
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and vendors
Uphold and embody the firm’s core values in all professional activities
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
8+ years of relevant experience within the area of labor & employment law
Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Stellar interpersonal and active listening skills
Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels
Exceptional time management, follow-through, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Preferred
Preference for a candidate with a book of portable business
Experience using legal software and tools, including Westlaw/Practical Law, iManage, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
