Responsibilities
Build and maintain features using Ruby and Ruby on Rails
Work within an established codebase while learning best practices
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and team leads
Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing
Grow toward increased technical ownership over time
Qualification
Required
Experience with Ruby and Rails (professional or strong project-based)
Understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming
Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and ActiveRecord
Experience using Git and working in collaborative codebases
Exposure to testing frameworks (RSpec or similar)
Comfort working in a hybrid or on-site environment
Desire to learn, ask questions, and improve code quality
Preferred
Experience with REST APIs or background jobs
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
macOS or Linux development experience
