Penske Logistics is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to become part of an excellent team. This role is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the shipping and receiving office, coordinating driver activity, preparing and dispatching loads, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

Receive and dispatch drivers in a timely manner

Prepare, manifest, and dispatch outbound loads correctly

Coordinate driver activity with the dock to ensure timely receiving of inbound loads

Maintain organized filing system (electronic and paper)

Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation

Support general office tasks as needed

Required

2 years of general office experience required

1 year of customer service experience required

High School diploma or equivalent required

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening

Preferred

Previous shipping/receiving clerk experience highly preferred

BlueYonder, CMMS, Clearchain, and Sharepoint experience preferred
