Senior Field Service Engineer
Radiant Dev is seeking a proactive Field Application Engineer to drive technical engagement and revenue growth for their high reliability product families. This role involves strategic outreach to top-tier HiRel, Military, and Aerospace primes and contractors, focusing on technical discussions and nurturing customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Strategic Engagement: Proactively identify and pursue the top key customer opportunities across North America, focusing on primes and contractors
Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical interface for customers, providing deep product knowledge, application support, and design guidance for Company’s high reliability product family
Outbound Focus: Initiate contact with target accounts, drive technical discussions, and uncover new opportunities through field visits, calls, and virtual meetings
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to align customer needs with Company’s roadmap and capabilities. Drive internal opportunity plans and pipeline management to ensure high conversion of Top Opportunities
O Work closely with internal team to ensure all required product support documentation, application notes, device models and reference platforms are available for product launches
Drive product planning and customer advocacy internally to continue to position Company on the leading edge of high reliability persistent memory applications
Market Expansion: Support future growth initiatives targeting European security companies such as Thales, Leonardo, and BAE Systems
Customer Advocacy: Represent the voice of the customer internally, helping shape product features, documentation, and support strategies
Revenue Impact: Contribute directly to regional revenue growth by enabling design wins and accelerating time-to-market for customer programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
5+ years of experience in Field Applications, Systems Engineering, or Technical Sales in the semiconductor or defense/aerospace industry
Strong alignment to the customers in the HiRel/Mil/Aero markets with established technical relationships
Strong understanding of HiRel/Mil/Aero system requirements and design environments
Strong understanding of radiation testing and performance requirements for MRAM devices in radiation sensitive environments
Familiarity with memory technologies, especially MRAM, is a plus
Embedded system knowledge of MCUs, CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs with embedded hard and soft CPU cores
Understanding of FPGA NVM boot device requirements with respect to read and write speed for configuration updates
Proven ability to manage complex technical engagements and influence design decisions
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to document technical ideas and concepts in the form of app notes and white papers
Understanding of Failure Analysis process and techniques to assist customers during device qualifications
Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
Preferred
Experience working with primes and Tier 1 contractors
Ability to think commercially while maintaining technical depth
Self-starter with a hunter mindset and a passion for building customer relationships
Comfortable navigating both engineering and procurement organization
