They are seeking a Legal Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals in managing subpoenas, records, and various administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and organization.

Responsibilities
Ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and maintain confidentiality
Works closely with attorneys, legal assistants and paralegals
Processing all outgoing subpoenas through certified mail for both offices, recording all tracking information after processed into ATO
Responsible for all outgoing mail and FedExes for both offices
Saving all incoming records, billing and etc. in response to subpoenas into ATO, updating subpoena memos with all information received. “Document management”
Scanning and forwarding all incoming mail for both offices
Monitor Subpoena Inboxes & Fax Inboxes and upload all records into ATO
Follow up with facilities regarding records, invoices, W-9s, radiology discs in response to subpoenas
Duplicating records and radiology discs to send to experts to obtain CME reports when needed
Assist with trial preparation and other projects when needed
Oversee incoming settlement checks and assist with sending to Plaintiff
Assist with phone coverage when needed
Order office supplies and keep office maintained
Communicate and arrange service with various vendors and building management when needed
Other administrative/clerical tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years' of legal experience
Candidates must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office
Preferred
Familiarity with and prior use of document management systems a plus
