Responsibilities

Assist in problem solving events to determine root cause and establish preventive measures

Has knowledge and application of 100% of all laboratory procedures, cross functionally trained and able to cover 100% of Quality Control and Assurance checks or expectations

Assist as a Trainer for all QA Lab, Line, and dept. policies and procedures

Performs sensory evaluation on samples and document as necessary

Ensure effective collection and shipment of customer samples and with appropriate documentation

Ability to work independently at batch station and escalate when necessary

Ability to effectively batch/make necessary adjustments using experience and tools provided at frontline station for all lines/product SKUs independently

Required

High School Diploma with 1-3 years experience in a laboratory environment, preferably one in a food manufacturing facility

Knowledge and application of 100% of all laboratory procedures

Ability to follow all lab methods and procedures (responsibilities are completed and accurate)

Active participation in the LME safety program

Complete all required food safety training per Alchemy protocol

Abides by all internal policies, including adherence to all GMP practices, attendance policy and completion of methodology described in the Technical Services Manual

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

A proven track record of exceptional organizational, planning and overall time management skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication

Ability to follow directions

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and legible documentation

Preferred

Additional course work in (Biology, Chemistry, Food Science) or related discipline a plus
