Pipefitter Superintendent/Coordinator

ARC Services is a veteran-owned contractor providing project, maintenance, and outage support throughout the United States. The Pipefitter Superintendent/Coordinator will lead and coordinate pipefitting crews in high-risk environments, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project execution requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate pipefitting crews, subcontractors, and support personnel in high-risk, schedule-driven industrial environments
Execute pipefitting scope in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety requirements
Interface effectively with Project Management, QA/QC, Safety, Commissioning, and client teams to support project execution
Ensure adherence to industrial safety standards and site requirements, including OSHA, LOTO, confined space, and hot work protocols
Support work planning, sequencing, and coordination activities to meet schedule and quality objectives
Other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum 5+ years of verifiable industrial construction experience, including power generation, heavy industrial, refinery, or large energy infrastructure projects
5+ years of industrial pipefitting experience on power or process facilities
Experience on large-scale projects, preferably $1B+ EPC or multi-prime
Demonstrated experience with large-bore, high-pressure / high-temperature piping systems
Working knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3, piping specifications, and isometric drawings
Experience with fit-up, welding sequencing, hydrotesting, reinstatement, and turnover support
Strong understanding of QA/QC processes and NDE coordination
Ability to work 10+ hours per day, up to 7 days/week
Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions, with possible exposure to radiation or chemicals
Ability to perform field work in all areas of the job site, including ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds at various heights
Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, or stoop around equipment safely
Ability to work in confined spaces, if needed
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 20 pounds overhead
