Tool Room Assistant

ITAC is a company that serves Process & Industrial clients with integrated engineering and construction services. The Tool Room Assistant will provide support to the Tool Room by managing tool inventory, maintaining records, and assisting with shipping and receiving duties.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound shipments and advise recipients of arrivals

Aid, as required, to package and arrange outbound shipping

Assist in the control of tool inventory

Maintain daily records of the release/return of Small Tools including job number, issue date, return date, and individual receiving/returning items

Maintain maintenance/repair records

Establish/mark tools with small tool & asset numbers as directed

Maintain inventory of Small Tools as directed

Inspect all returns/damage, serviceability (tag out damaged items)

Ensure that tools have the correct color safety markings

Maintain Consumables

Provide advice to the Director when current supply levels are low

Issue consumables to jobs per Company Store guidelines

Assist with the physical inventory of consumables on regular intervals

Assist the Manager with the control of the ITAC construction vehicles

Assist with maintaining the security of the offices, equipment, tools, consumables gases, fleet, storage containers, and the lay-down yard

Provide pick-up and delivery duties as assigned

Pre-fill job orders based on requirements provided

Forklift operation

Assist in managing records to include fleet maintenance & tool/ equipment certifications, aiding scheduling certifications

Assist in obtaining tool and equipment quotes and creating purchase orders

Manage the monthly vehicle reports and assist communication with driver's repairs
