Responsibilities
Maintains, adjusts, and repairs all types of machines and mechanical equipment such as mills, lathes, drills, presses, hammers, air compressors, automatic machines, etc
Analyzes trouble, diagnoses and locates causes, dismantles, repairs, or replaces defective parts and reassembles
Set up and operates such machines as lathe, mill, drill press, grinders, etc., in making repair parts or repairing old parts
Performs scraping and flaking operations on the ways of various types of machinery
Works from drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions
Qualification
Required
Three (3) years of machine repair or related experience
Maintains, adjusts, and repairs all types of machines and mechanical equipment such as mills, lathes, drills, presses, hammers, air compressors, automatic machines, etc
Analyzes trouble, diagnoses and locates causes, dismantles, repairs, or replaces defective parts and reassembles
Set up and operates such machines as lathe, mill, drill press, grinders, etc., in making repair parts or repairing old parts
Performs scraping and flaking operations on the ways of various types of machinery
Works from drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions
Use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
Must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-restricted information
Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information
