The role involves leading a team of foremen and coordinating with numerous trade partners to ensure project success and safety compliance.
Staffing & Recruiting
Responsibilities
Daily coordination of MEP trades (electrical, sheet metal, piping, controls)
3-week look-aheads, recovery schedules, and clash resolution via Navisworks/BIM 360
QA/QC enforcement – Level 4 commissioning prep, leak testing, torque verification
Safety leadership – zero-incident goal, daily toolbox talks, OSHA 500 preferred
Subcontractor management – productivity tracking, backcharges, T&M oversight
Qualification
Required
8+ years as MEP Superintendent on $150M+ data centers or mission-critical projects
Proven hyperscale track record (AWS, Meta, Google, Azure, Oracle, etc.)
Expertise in medium-voltage distribution, chillers/CRAC units, UPS, generators, and dry-cooler systems
Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, and BIM 360 daily user
OSHA 30 (current), First Aid/CPR
Ability to read and redline MEP drawings
Preferred
Local Tennessee network (electrical/plumbing subs)
Experience with liquid cooling or immersion systems
Commissioning background (CxA or Level 5 prep)
