First Finish, a Shawmut Company, is seeking a summer intern to join their Finance Team. The role involves supporting project accountants, learning financial systems, and interacting with various departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Project Accountants to ensure daily tasks are complete

Learn the systems and imaging software used including CMiC and Kofax

Learn about the different workflows in the Finance department

Interact with other departments such as Group Finance to ensure projects are running smoothly and vendors are paid timely when properly compliant

Support our internal clients on Accounting needs

Transition between departments to understand how we interact and work together

Assist Corporate Accounting in reconciliations

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
