Integration & Test Engineer (Bus & Payload Sub-Assemblies)

The Integration and Test Engineer will lead the development of manufacturing and test processes for satellite sub-assemblies, ensuring the delivery of flight-worthy hardware and collaborating with various teams to optimize production and reliability.

Responsibilities
Define and manage assembly flow and test operations of satellite sub-assembly production area
Enable day-to-day execution of the production area by eliminating blockers, slow-downs, and waste
Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned and feedback
Evaluate non-conformances to determine root cause and drive corrective actions to implementation
Scrutinize current and proposed designs for manufacturability, reliability, and repeatability
Interface with technicians, specialists, and engineers of multiple disciplines to optimize manufacturing and reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
1+ years of professional mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing (internships/co-ops and club projects can apply)
Preferred
Master's degree in an engineering discipline
Experience with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, and/or structural systems
Experience working with composites and integration of avionics systems
Documentation and configuration management experience
Experience writing test plans, and procedures and providing go/no-go judgment and rationale
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated engineering intuition, critical thinking, and comfort with ambiguity
