Responsibilities
Install, commission, and validate industrial automated systems at customer locations
Troubleshoot robotic systems, PLC controls, HMI interfaces, sensors, and automation hardware
Diagnose root causes of machine failures using structured, logical troubleshooting steps
Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, adjustments, and system modifications
Build, assemble, and integrate system components as required
Work independently on customer sites with limited oversight
Travel approximately 50% (mix of local travel and domestic trips)
Qualification
Required
Robotics experience
Strong PLC troubleshooting capability
Ability to understand ladder logic
Strong HMI troubleshooting experience
Solid electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Proven mechanical aptitude, including system assembly experience
Proficiency with power tools is required
Self-starter who can independently evaluate issues and determine next steps
Ability to handle varied, fast-paced technical challenges on site
