Mergers and Acquisitions Manager

The Mergers and Acquisitions Manager will play a pivotal role in executing all aspects of the company's merger and acquisition activities, including strategy development, transaction execution, and post-acquisition performance tracking.

Responsibilities

Directs and oversees merger, acquisition, and divestiture activity in support of Anticimex’s overall growth strategy objectives. Specific activities include:
Market and competitive landscape analysis, including trends and developments
Identify and source targets, build strong relationships with business owners
Ensure our end-to-end M&A process is optimized across the organization
Prioritize and evaluate potential targets, including alignment with all stakeholders
Collaborate on all key aspects of the deal process from initial investment thesis, business case, financial valuation, due diligence, negotiation, closing and integration
Create and present materials to recommend investment cases to Anticimex executives and Board of Directors
Drive the financial model/valuation and due diligence process, including liaising with internal business units and corporate functions and external business owners
Collaborate with subject matter experts (Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, Ops) internally and externally in preparation for closing / integration
Ensure successful close and integration, including performance tracking of deal

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
3+ years of experience in transaction advisory services, management consulting, corporate development, or investment banking
Superior analytical and financial modeling skills
Self-starter with an ownership mindset; ability to prioritize, organize, and drive several projects at once
Desire to work with fast-paced and entrepreneurial organizations with frequent exposure to senior leadership
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Self-motivated and directed with the ability to learn quickly
Required travel up to 30% (potentially more at times)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred

MBA, CFA and/or CPA preferred
Merger & Acquisition: 3 years (Preferred)
Location: Washington DC, Baltimore MD, Philadelphia PA, Charlotte NC, New York NY, Boston MA (Preferred)
