Engineering Project Coordinator
Precision Signs is a world-class architectural signage provider based in Long Island. They are seeking a highly-skilled Engineering Project Coordinator to support project managers and engineers in planning and executing projects, ensuring they remain on track and within budget.

Responsibilities
Review all incoming jobs and analyze architectural drawings, specs, schedules, and project documents
Identify missing information and coordinate with Project Managers to obtain clarifications
Define project scope, signage requirements, special conditions, and quoting needs
Gather as much information as possible, and help determine where
Evaluate feasibility with engineers and production to ensure work fits company capabilities
Flesh out sign type designations and basic construction details for predictable engineering intake
Prepare complete intake packages enabling engineers to begin work without delays
Communicate cross‑departmentally to prevent bottlenecks and ensure smooth workflow transition
Begin RFI (Request for Information) process as necessary to clarify project details
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and message schedules
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to identify risk, missing info, and inconsistencies early
Strong written and verbal communication skills across Project Management, Engineering, and Production
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PDF Tools and online collaboration tools
Familiarity with sign fabrication, construction methods, or interest and willingness to learn
Ability to manage multiple projects and organize information consistently
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Design, Construction Management, or similar
Technical school certificates in drafting, engineering technology, or fabrication
Experience in signage, architectural submittals, manufacturing, or project coordination
