Testing Center Coordinator

This role includes training testing administrators and overseeing online testing services to maintain integrity and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
Managing the Testing Center and ensuring that testing programs are consistent with the primary educational mission of the college
Providing comprehensive testing services to all eligible students as well as the community in general
Training and monitoring testing administrators at all locations
Providing testing services including placement tests, Ability to Benefit, High School Equivalence, Pearson, Praxis, instructor make-up exams, pre-admission exams, standardized tests, and others
Ensuring compliance with all institutional governmental, industry, and regulatory requirements, regulations, reporting, processes, and procedures
Overseeing and maintaining the integrity of online testing services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution
Two years of experience in a customer or student service-oriented industry, demonstrating strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
Must be able to complete the required vendor training/certification for administering standardized tests within sixty (60) days of hire
Strong public service orientation
Strong technology proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and utilize new software and online platforms
Excellent active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and email etiquette skills
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and Saturday, as necessitated by the position
Ability to travel to administer off-campus tests as needed
Preferred
Master's Degree or higher in Adult Education, Educational Administration, Counseling, Testing, or related field from an accredited institution
Prior experience with standardized testing
Teaching, training, or testing experience in an educational setting
Experience with online testing systems and remote proctoring technologies
Bilingual Spanish-English
