Responsibilities

Mechanical/electrical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis
Build and test small electrical sub-assemblies
Build and test optical equipment
Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating
Run functional testing on units
Harnesses routing onto avionics assemblies
Support vibe and thermal development tests
Perform HASS testing of assemblies built in the area

Required

High school diploma or equivalency certificate
1+ years of experience using mechanical hand tools
1+ years of professional technician experience in electronics
Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times: 1st shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted

Preferred

Associate degree
Conformal coat support experience utilizing NVOC, urethane, acrylic and silicone based CC
Experience maintaining and programming of PVA conformal coat system
Current or past certification for NASA-STD-8739.3, IPC-610 or equivalent
Experience preferred in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
Able to adapt to constant changing work assignments and fast paced work environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy
Experience building electromechanical components
Experience with thermal and vibe testing
Experience with harness routing and integration
