The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing studio and editing equipment as well as computer systems, while also ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and assisting in capital projects.

Responsibilities

Have good People Skills to work with the other Departments and personnel, along having the ability to fix any issue on the fly. Our engineering motto is that no problem is too big or small for us to handle

Have expert knowledge regarding equipment, IT technology, systems, and be able to step in and assist in emergency situations

Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications within the station. A good knowledge of VMware is a plus

Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and communication with departments regarding those regulations

Assist in the implementation of Capital Projects

Integration, maintenance, and operation of new and current equipment, including towers, transmitters, microwave, satellite, IT, and tenant installations

Must be able to install and remove rack equipment weighing 25-50 pounds with the help of another employee

Have working knowledge of the latest operating systems software, including automation, server, and desktop operating systems. Linux is a plus
