This hands-on role involves assembling and disassembling vehicle components, building test fixtures, and executing tests while collaborating with engineers to resolve issues.

Responsibilities
Execute tests: setup, perform inspections, conduct maintenance, and retrofits
Document and report issues identified during tests or inspections
Collaborate with engineers to resolve mechanical & electrical issues discovered
Collecting pre test and post test data on components that go through thermal cycling
Support Engineers in instrumentation and data acquisition
Assist and learn from other technicians and engineers
Assemble & wire test fixtures
Qualification
Required
Desire for professional development
Excellent written & verbal communication skills (ability to read wiring diagrams)
Use of basic hand tools and some power tools - experience with fabrication equipment (drills, band saw)
Ability to use basic measurement tools such as caliper, and digital multimeter - understanding of Ohms law
Analytical problem-solving skills
Basic experience with MS office tools (Outlook/Excel/Word)
Working principals of common thermal components - operation, testing and characterization
Experience using standard lab and test equipment like power supplies, and cameras for photo documentation
Ability to adapt to quick project/task changes
Lift up to 50 lbs
