Responsibilities
Manage open orders daily and release work to warehouse floor while ensuring inventory accuracy through Microsoft Dynamics
Ensure orders are entered correctly and are being prioritized by warehouse staff to accommodate sales commitments
Expedite and follow orders as they are processed by the warehouse
Participate in conference calls between warehouse and sales
Liaison between sales team and warehouse operations
Communicate with sales in order to set expectation for customer requirements
Verify information (quantities, part numbers, reel sizes etc.) on ALL orders before load/work is released to the warehouse
Review open orders for efficiency, change sites, part numbers, dates to improve workflow
Work with logistics supervisor to ensure orders are being shipped in proper manner to meet customer requirements and to minimize freight costs
Enter inter company transfer orders to accommodate sales
Communicate production orders to Cutting department to meet sales priorities and maximize production
Assist quality/inventory team with adjustments and location verifications
Assist reps/sales team to verify inventory availability for quotes and orders
Continue to work with D365 implementation team to improve efficiency
Comply with company attendance point system
Continue to develop and build processes, techniques and strategies to improve workflow
Assist during Inventory
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum experience: Mid-level
