They are seeking an Intern / Co-Op – Environmental Engineer or Geologist, or Hydrogeologist to apply academic knowledge in real-world situations while gaining business skills in a full-time role during the summer of 2026.

Responsibilities

Conducting fieldwork (up to 50%) such as soil and groundwater sampling and drilling and contractor oversight following training
Assisting with engineering calculations, design, and/or research
Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
Data management and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures
Following instructions and interacting with engineers, scientists, office administrative staff, CADD operators, contractors and construction personnel; and
Local travel to project sites as needed
Obtain a 40-hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response training

Required

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree program in a relevant geological or environmental science, or related engineering discipline
A high interest in working on geological, environmental restoration, and cleanup projects
Valid U.S. driver's license, reliable transportation, and satisfactory driving record for business travel to project sites

Preferred

Experience with ArcView, CADD, and/or Microsoft Office
Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, oral and written communication and problem-solving skills
