Propark Mobility is currently hiring Public Transit Operators for full-time opportunities to start immediately. This position is responsible for the transportation of passengers traveling throughout the Wooster area and demonstrates superior customer skills.

Responsibilities

Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility

Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading

Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations

Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms

Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise

Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions

Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems

Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor

Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner

Required

You are at least 20 years old

You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years

You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently

You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends

Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed

Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet

Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way
