Responsibilities
Optimize customer-supplied drawings and models using SolidWorks CAD
Develop flat patterns for the camming and programming process
Program laser, punch, and press brake equipment using SigmaNest
Verify incoming work orders for accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with customers to improve part design and manufacturability
Provide detailed build drawings to the production floor
Support production with design, tooling, and programming issues
Manage customer and internal change requests while maintaining document control
Review peer drawings and programs for accuracy and quality
Perform additional duties as assigned to support company goals
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or technical school certificate in a related field
Minimum of 3 years of SolidWorks CAD experience
At least 3 years of programming experience in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related technical tools
