Responsibilities
Market Insight & Customer Engagement – Act as a liaison with semiconductor facilities and design firms to identify trends, customer needs, and product gaps; deliver tailored technical presentations and propose solutions aligned with market demands
Solution Development & Customization – Create customized products and solution templates, recommend protection, control, and monitoring features, and ensure clients are informed about ABB’s latest technologies to maximize ROI and address key challenges
Strategic Analysis & Value Mapping – Conduct value stream mapping and competitive analysis across the semiconductor ecosystem; document key roles, utility relationships, and barriers to adoption to strengthen ABB’s positioning and engagement strategy
Internal Collaboration & Industry Representation – Coordinate with global/local teams and account managers for seamless execution, provide progress reporting, and represent ABB at industry events and on LinkedIn to enhance brand visibility and stakeholder relationships
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferably in Electrical Engineering (PE or master's degree is a plus)
8+ years of experience (Power Distribution equipment experience including but not limited to Switchgear, Panelboards, Motor Control preferred)
Strong knowledge of electrical standards and codes (UL, ANSI, JCAHO), power systems, digital and energy management solutions, and ability to interpret one-line diagrams and technical specifications
Understand budgeting considerations and position ABB solutions to address cost concerns while aligning with client priorities and ROI goals
Proven ability to identify decision-makers, build long-term relationships with key stakeholders, and maintain credibility within engineering and healthcare industry organizations (ASHE, NEHES, Healthcare New England Council)
Exceptional written and verbal communication with strong executive-level presentation capabilities to engage and influence diverse audiences
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
