Responsibilities
Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
Answers phones providing support to customers by answering questions about product offerings, pricing, availability, product use and preparation, and credit terms
Maintain knowledge of wholesale cuts of beef, pork, veal, lamb, poultry, provisions, and game
Enter all orders into FoodConnex accurately and efficiently
Proactively follow up with customers to ensure client satisfaction, address questions/concerns, resolve problems and provide ongoing customer satisfaction
Monitor and respond to incoming sales emails - ranging from product questions, complaints, replies to statements/ credit inquiries or forwarding emails to the proper departments for follow-up
Enter product costs into the order entry system and share them with outside sales representatives
Revive “cold” or dormant accounts

Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree highly preferred
At least 2 years of inside sales experience required, preferably within the retail/hospitality industry
Knowledge of wholesale cuts of beef, pork, veal, lamb, poultry, provisions and game
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong phone presence
