Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of the client’s business
Coordinate, organize, and schedule engagements to ensure all deadlines are met
Prepare audit strategies and assess audit risks
Manage multiple audit or review engagements
Review financial statements and related disclosures to ensure compliance with reporting requirements
Review engagement work papers
Research accounting issues and provide solutions
Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Partner
Properly plan and manage engagements to ensure completion
Become an expert within assigned niches
Assist in special projects
Assist with peer review planning and compliance
Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
Manage and monitor client deliverables and due dates
Lead department in knowledge of software, processes, and workflows
Minimal travel requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
7 - 10+ years of audit experience in public accounting
Strong technical, analytical, and risk assessment skills
Proven leadership and team management abilities
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
High ethical standards and professionalism
Preferred
Master's degree
Active CPA license or CPA eligible

Office is closed on Fridays (May through December)
