Responsibilities
Evaluating and performing HVACR repairs and general maintenance on all refrigeration systems and equipment in the retail environment, including complex issues, independently utilizing expert knowledge
Training and mentoring other Refrigeration Technician 1s and 2s on all aspects of performing service on all equipment
Performing housekeeping duties such as maintaining accurate parts inventory
Participating in special refrigeration projects for retail facilities and assisting with the implementation of corporate projects
Qualification
Required
HVAC or Refrigeration Trade school completion or equivalent experience
five (5) years working in supermarket refrigeration service OR two (2) years as a Refrigeration Technician 2
EPA Universal License
must be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver license
advanced electrical circuit troubleshooting
basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
knowledge of EMS systems i.e., Danfoss and Emerson
ability to lift/lower/climb ladders/walk on roofs
willingness to work a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends, and to travel with overnight stays
willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
Preferred
seven (7) years working in supermarket refrigeration service OR four (4) years as a Refrigeration Technician 2
