Junior Sales Representative

OEC provides software solutions for the automotive parts and repair industry, and they are seeking a motivated Junior Sales Representative to help develop their PartsBrokerDirect program. The role involves generating qualified leads, identifying new business opportunities, and building relationships with dealership parts managers and service personnel.

Responsibilities

Proactively contact dealerships (primarily parts managers) within the assigned book of business to uncover and qualify new business opportunities, with the ability to handle a high volume of calls daily. Generate and pass qualified leads to the broker team for follow-up and closing
Analyzes market trends and feedback to create effective talk tracks that uncover opportunities and generate revenue for the PartsBrokerDirect Team
Collaborate with brokers to understand territory strategies and align outreach efforts for maximum revenue impact
Maintain accurate lead and account information in CRM/offer console
Step in to cover broker territories during absences, managing active accounts, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring smooth territory operations
Respond to inbound inquiries from prospects, gathering information to determine fit and readiness before handing off to a broker
Use creativity and problem-solving skills to identify untapped opportunities within assigned markets
Partner with colleagues to share market insights, brainstorm lead-generation tactics, and coordinate efforts to grow the customer base
Monitor market trends and provide feedback to improve sales approaches and solicitation strategies

Required

A High School diploma/GED is required
Minimum 1 year of proven experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or account management
Experience working in a high-volume outreach environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creative and resourceful approach to generating leads
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work closely with brokers and other colleagues
Ability to use a computer customer database and Microsoft office software applications
Ability to engage clients professionally via phone, email, and virtual meetings to provide excellent customer service
