Responsibilities

Greets and welcomes members and visitors to the credit union in a courteous, professional and timely manner. Provides prompt, accurate and efficient service in the processing of transactions

Opens new accounts and services existing accounts. Sets up new account files and provides members with all necessary information for membership

Promotes and cross-sells a wide variety of credit union products and services based on member needs

Establishes and assists with safe deposit boxes, U.S. savings bonds and share certificates

Maintains checking account supplies, including ordering checks, as assigned

Serves as back up to call center representatives as needed

This job operates in a credit union environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, scanners and copy machines

Regularly works varied daytime hours and every third Saturday with occasional overtime

Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds (e.g., safety deposit boxes)
