Environmental Compliance Inspector (Full-Time)

MBP (McDonough Bolyard Peck) is seeking an Environmental Compliance Inspector to support projects across Western Virginia. Responsibilities

Perform daily record keeping of project activities related to environmental compliance
Monitor and perform environmental inspections to verify regulatory compliance
Report identified noncompliance observations from ESC and SWM inspections
Provide technical guidance during site visits related to ESC measures, SWM BMPs, SWPPP, Spill Containment Plans, C-107 process, VSMP, ESCCC, and MS4 programs
Interpret and apply state and federal environmental laws, regulations, policies, and best practices during inspection activities

Required

Minimum of 2 years with state and federal environmental regulations, including ESC measures, SWM BMPs, SWPPP, Spill Containment Plans, C-107 process, VSMP, ESCCC, and MS4 programs
High school graduate
Virginia DEQ Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector Certification (required)
Virginia DEQ Storm Water Management Inspector Certification (required)
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Background screening will be performed
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
