Associate Product Engineer

Responsibilities

Provide assembly/test instructions, training and monitoring to maintain production
Assure and maintain design integrity, producibility and quality in development and production products
Develop and improve tools, fixtures and test equipment
Perform engineering analysis to assess non-conformances or technical issues that occur during assembly and test
Develop RCCA analyses that ensure long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems
Contribute to customer presentations or technical review meetings
Coordinate with multiple departments to work through roadblocks and ensure on-time delivery of hardware
Participate in hands on prototyping of new products during the development phase working closely with the design team

Required

Have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or comparable field of technology and 0-3 years of experience
The ability to write work instructions
Have good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with manufacturing, assembly and test teammates
Have self-starting instincts, solid analytical skills, and a strong sense of ownership for responsible products
Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred

Working knowledge of pneumatics, pressurized systems or valve experience is preferred
