Responsibilities
Daily Bookkeeping
Record and categorize transactions across multiple payment platforms
Reconcile bank, payment processor, and ledger accounts
Monitor payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain an up-to-date general ledger
Maintain accurate and organized records
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process vendor invoices and support accounts payable workflows
Assist with invoicing and collections as needed
Ensure timely tracking and recording of incoming and outgoing payments
Multi-Entity Support
Maintain accurate books for multiple related entities
Assist with inter-entity expense allocations and tracking
Support entity-level reporting and documentation
Month-End Close & Reporting Support
Prepare monthly bookkeeping packages
Support month-end close processes
Provide basic financial reports (e.g., P&L summaries, reconciliation reports) as requested
Ensure documents and records are well-organized and audit-ready
Process Improvement
Recommend and implement improvements to bookkeeping workflows
Assist with automation where possible
Help maintain financial control integrity as volume and complexity grow
Qualification
Required
4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping fundamentals and best practices
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (or equivalent accounting software)
Familiarity with payment platforms such as Stripe, ACH/Bank deposits, and merchant systems
Comfortable managing and reconciling multi-entity accounting
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
Preferred
Prior healthcare or technology industry experience is a plus
