Responsibilities

Maintain and improve etch processes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency

Diagnose and resolve yield-related problems; participate in taskforces to develop long-term solutions

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement new processes to eliminate bottlenecks

Install and qualify new equipment and process technologies

Support integration and quality teams to meet qualification and reliability requirements

Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize operations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid-State Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Strong understanding of Wet Etch principles, concepts, and techniques

Ability to manage defined project tasks or lead small-scale projects independently

Experience with design of experiments (DOE) and data analysis

3 - 5 + years in etch process engineering with a bachelor's degree

Hands-on experience with TEL Unity, AMAT DPS/MXP, and/or LAM 2300/9400/9600 etch tools

Familiarity with wet etch equipment such as Akrion, DNS, SEZ, and Semitool

Knowledge of PROMIS WIP management and JMP statistical analysis software

Preferred

Six Sigma certification is a plus
