Responsibilities
Accurately updates and maintains data in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Provides or assists in training, as required
Creates NC’s as required for non-conforming products
Assists in investigating and resolving technical and quality issues
Creates or assist sin the development of internal process procedures and work instructions
Analyzes non-conformities, reviews trends
Creates and maintains charts for Key Performance Indicators
Interfaces with customers to resolve issues such as, but not limited to Certification Corrections, etc
Adheres to all company Quality and Safety standards, policies, and procedures
Maintains a high-level of security and confidentiality of all files
To meet the needs of our customers and colleagues, you are expected to be at your workstation and ready to work at your designated start time
Qualification
Required
Basic understanding of internal policies and procedures regarding the Quality Management System
Ability to accurately update and maintain data in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Ability to provide or assist in training, as required
Ability to create NC's as required for non-conforming products
Ability to assist in investigating and resolving technical and quality issues
Ability to create or assist in the development of internal process procedures and work instructions
Ability to analyze non-conformities and review trends
Ability to create and maintain charts for Key Performance Indicators
Ability to interface with customers to resolve issues such as Certification Corrections
Adherence to all company Quality and Safety standards, policies, and procedures
Ability to maintain a high level of security and confidentiality of all files
Ability to meet the needs of customers and colleagues by being at the workstation and ready to work at the designated start time
Must have an acceptable criminal history background check
Must pass a drug test
Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include walking, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, and pulling
Occasionally lifting & carrying items which may weigh up to 25 lbs
Sitting or standing for extended periods of time at a desk using a computer & phone
Hearing and vision must be within normal range with or without correction
Preferred
Minimum of one-year related Quality Assurance Technician experience, preferably in a manufacturing/processing company
