They are seeking an experienced Sourcing Agent to develop and implement global procurement strategies, build supplier partnerships, and support new product development in order to optimize supply chain management.

Responsibilities

Develop, communicate, and implement global procurement and sourcing strategies for assigned categories to optimize total value of ownership and meet cost reduction, productivity, and NPD goals

Identify and build long-term partnerships with suppliers to enhance product, supply chain, and technological capabilities

Negotiate contracts, including pricing, terms, and lead times, to maximize value

Gather and analyze market intelligence data, including commodity trends, cost drivers, and best practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development (NPD) and ensure timely sourcing activities for project success

Lead supplier onboarding and participate in Supplier Scorecard Reviews

Support inventory optimization and material flow in partnership with Planning

Drive process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency

Act as sourcing liaison for new product launches and manage sourcing activities to meet cost and timeline goals
