Responsibilities
Assist in managing existing sales pipelines and developing new business opportunities
Monitor and evaluate homebuilding industry trends, customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
Conduct bi-weekly meetings with the Branch Manager and Director of Sales & Estimating to promote internal communications and support for sales efforts
Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers; selecting customers that align with business strategy
Network for sales candidates to add to sales support in major markets
Interface to communicate builder specifications and details relative to market and product design nuances to the Estimating Department for pricing
Stay abreast on industry trends, particularly within assigned markets
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Thorough knowledge of markets and clients
Organized with attention to detail
Strong business sense and industry knowledge
Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to travel locally and within AOCG market areas - up to 10%
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
5+ years of new business development experience, preferably in construction or building materials
Thorough knowledge of roofing, siding and gutters
Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
