Quality Technician (1st Shift)
Millat Industries, a family-owned manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Technician at their Kettering location. The role involves inspecting manufactured products, assisting engineering and quality departments, and ensuring adherence to quality procedures.

Responsibilities
Operate multiple CMM’s programmed with PC-DMIS
Use hand gages (calipers, micrometers, height stands, etc.) to inspect manufactured products
Assist engineering / quality departments by gathering and analyzing data for continuous improvement activities
Establish a positive rapport and excellent communication with production leads and associates
Meet customer delivery requirements by utilizing time effectively
Utilize lean manufacturing techniques in daily activities
Follow and Enforce quality procedures throughout entire shop
Qualification
Required
Strong communication skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor
Ability to exert between 10 and 50 pounds on an occasional basis
Quality oriented & conscious
Always adheres to Company safety policies
Reliable with excellent attendance record
