They are seeking an experienced Insurance Attorney to serve as the primary legal advisor on insurance-related issues, providing counsel, managing insurance coverage plans, and coordinating with various departments within the Foundation.

Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel and guidance with respect to insurance and risk management

Responsible for insurance coverage plans, including property, general liability, D&O, builders’ risk, and workers’ compensation, including the procurement and renewal of policies

Coordinate with various departments within the Foundation to prepare insurance application information and coordinate submission

Serve as primary point of contact for insurance broker and insurance company representatives

Assess potential claims and advise with respect to coverage issues, claims reporting and submission requirements, strategy, and litigation

Review and analyze insurance contracts and advise with respect to same

Review contracts for insurance and indemnification-related provisions and coordinate with Legal Department the handling of third party certificates of insurance in connection with vendor and event contracts

Address workers compensation coverage questions

Manage designated team members, supervise work and assign tasks

Represent the values and brand of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation

Operate in accordance with the goals, needs, and mission of the Foundation
