2025 - 2026 Corporate Affairs Intern
Chevron is a leading energy company that proactively manages social, political, and reputational risks. The Corporate Affairs Intern will support tasks related to corporate media relations, employee communications, and advocacy initiatives while engaging with key public stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Support tasks related to corporate media relations, employee communications, executive communications, digital and social media engagement, events and brand management
Analyze policy/regulatory issues in countries where Chevron operates
Provide support on advocacy initiatives on Chevron’s positions before government, trade, and other third-party organizations
Track and report on key U.S. and foreign policy issues in specific regions
When directed, prepare responses to outside inquiries on Chevron's positions on issues, and attend briefings and congressional hearings on foreign and domestic policy, legislative, or regulatory matters
Qualification
Required
Individuals must be a rising senior or graduate student
Have or be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree aligned with our functional areas
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, asylee, refugee, or lawful permanent resident
Preferred
Awareness of the implications of the US political structure and environment in which the energy sector operates
Experience in federal and/or international policy
Understanding of legislative and regulatory processes within the United States at the state and federal levels
