Responsibilities

Lead and support offensive and defensive patent litigation matters in U.S. federal courts and, where applicable, foreign jurisdictions

Collaborate with outside counsel on litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, expert development, and trial preparation

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect relevant evidence and data, assess legal risk, and manage responses to legal actions

Prepare and review claim charts for infringement and invalidity positions in partnership with technical teams

Drive early dispute resolution efforts while maintaining readiness to escalate matters offensively or defensively

Analyze and respond to indemnity requests, patent assertion letters and NPE demands, developing strong invalidity and non-infringement positions to defend against third-party claims and support counterclaims or offensive litigation

Coordinate internal technical reviews and work with IP and engineering teams to identify and pursue opportunities for enforcing the company’s intellectual property rights
