Community Partnerships Account Manager
Housing Works is a pioneer in the social entrepreneurship movement, committed to providing quality housing and healthcare services. The Community Partnerships Account Manager is responsible for developing long-term relationships with community partners to connect them with Housing Works services, particularly in primary care and harm reduction.

Responsibilities
Act as Housing Works Ambassador
Understand Housing Works Programs and Services, particularly the services associated with our Hepatitis C Care and Treatment initiative, and be able to educate community partners about eligibility criteria, service offerings and referral process
Map assigned territory and identify stakeholders in Brooklyn working with clients who have an elevated risk for contracting HCV including methadone clinics, substance use in-patient, outpatient, and residential facilities, recovery centers
Develop territory plan that optimizes time management and effectively develops community partners within territory
Profile accounts and understand customer needs
Plan SMART Goals and create solutions to differentiate Housing Works and advance relationship
Effectively build multi-level relationships
Seek out community-based organizations and partners who work closely with our clientele in need of HCV, primary care, and behavioral health services
Achieve targets by segmenting market and tailoring strategy by referral channel and build action plan accordingly
Apply criteria to prioritize and focus on high value accounts
Meet documentation requirements and use CRM to manage account portfolio
Understand Referrer’s or clients’ value
Handle objections
Communicate with key Influencers and negotiate strategically and tactically
Deliver strategic solutions and achieve Triple WIN!
Provide follow up to advance relationship
Actively participate in both Community Partnerships and Prevention Services team meetings, collaborating closely with both departments
Provide excellent internal and external customer service in order to create an excellent customer experience for referrers and clients
Gain agreement to connect clients to both Hep C treatment and other Housing Works programs, matching clients to additional service lines
Record and track daily and monthly activity and results
Understand account trends and provide weekly reports
Deliver effective presentations and engage participants in a valuable dialogue in order to advance relationship with Housing Works
Provide rapid testing for HCV/HIV to clients at partner sites that have expressed a desire to know their status
Meet performance standards based on program specifications including call reach and visit frequency and required documentation
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum of 3 years work experience in related fields OR Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 1-year experience in related fields
Developed knowledge of social services organizations and community outreach efforts
Work experience in outreach, sales and business development is a plus
Personal qualities of empathy, integrity, and a sense of responsibility and urgency
Valid driver's license preferred
