Responsibilities
Supervise the activities of Electrical Apprentices, ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to Mass Save and company best practice for safety and quality
Conduct regular evaluations, provide feedback to management, and ensure Electrical Apprentices receive proper training
Perform knob & tube assessments resulting in sign-off or quote
IC rated light assessments resulting in sign-off or quote
Provide all MASS Save and HWE required documentation
Repairing damage by crews to light fixtures, wiring, fuses, or anything electrical related
Installing electric thermostats
Wiring heat pump, boiler, furnace electrical components and hard-wiring smoke detectors
Installing bath fans
Service and panel upgrades
Knob and tube remediation
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes, as well as safety regulations and industry standards
Pulling and closing permits in all areas where required
Complete necessary paperwork, documentation, and reports related to electrical installations, inspections, and permits
Ensure that all required permits and licenses are obtained and kept up to date for each project
Perform additional tasks as required
Qualification
Required
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
Valid Master Electrician License issued by the appropriate regulatory authority
Minimum 3 years of experience as Master Electrician
Must demonstrate basic fundamental knowledge of using a computer
Thorough understanding of electrical principles, practices, and techniques, as well as current electrical codes and regulations
Ability to trouble shoot and interact with customers and crews
Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time
Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
