Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy

Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team

Follow the Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations

Qualification

Required

Current Texas nursing license or compact license

One year full time experience in an acute care setting

RQI BLS and ACLS required

BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting

Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility

Must be able to identify and competently address the needs of the populations served
