Postdoctoral Fellow - Neurosurgery - Research

Responsibilities
Involve basic and translational research in the area of brain tumor cell biology and mouse models of primary and metastatic brain cancer
Emphasis on the brain microenvironment, including studies of how primary and metastatic tumor cells co-opt the neurovascular unit/blood-brain barrier for selective growth and survival
Receive training and mentoring in the use of mouse models and in vitro culture systems to study cell adhesion and signaling pathways involved in tumor cell-stromal cell interactions
Emphasize biochemical, molecular genetic and cell biological techniques
Qualification
Required
PhD and/or MD
peer-reviewed publications or manuscripts under review in internationally recognized journals
strong background in biochemistry
strong background in molecular biology
strong background in cell biology
