They are seeking a Production Support Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to the Plant Scheduler and other office personnel, ensuring smooth production activities and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Plant Scheduler to develop and optimize production schedules using sales forecasts, customer service insights, plant performance metrics, and workforce availability
Monitor and report scrap material data to support inventory accuracy and cost-control initiatives
Maintain preventive maintenance documentation and service records for all plant machinery and equipment in coordination with the Plant Engineer
Enforce document control protocols to ensure compliance and accuracy
Support plant programs that drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement
Facilitate collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, and Plant Management to align scheduling and inventory requirements
Track workforce capacity and labor hours for production planning insights
Build advanced Excel reports (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
Assist with procurement and inventory management tasks
Identify and resolve data discrepancies related to inventory and schedules
Communicate effectively across departments to align production plans
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills strongly preferred
Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and purchasing processes (preferred)
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred)
